Weather in Vitoria
Vitoria is near the Bay of Biscay and the southwestern border of
France in the north of Spain. The region is a combination of rugged
coast land and fertile wet jungle. Due to its geographical location
and the Atlantic Ocean's influence, Vitoria's climate is humid with
mild temperatures throughout the year and frequent showers in spring
and fall. The average temperature is 20°C in summer and 8°C
in winter.
Extreme heat can also be experienced for also a few days each
summer when strong winds from the south blow through the mountains
and temperatures rise because of the Föhn wind.
