Arrivals Valencia Airport
Valencia Airport arrivals are dealt with on the ground floor of the main terminal building.
Valencia Airport has six different conveyor belts within the main arrivals hall at the airport. Five of these belts are in Lounge 1 for internal Spanish flights and the other one is in Lounge 2 for International flights.
Last year saw a huge increase in the number of arrivals at Valencia Airport. This is due in part to the increase in the number of low cost airlines that are flying into Valencia from the UK and the rest of Europe.
Even with the increase in International flights the bulk of the passengers arriving at Valencia Airport arrive here from within Spain. Nearly 50% of the passenger traffic comes off flights from Madrid whilst a significant number comes from Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Seville and Ibiza.
Once at the airport there are several ways of getting to your holiday destination. If you are only here for a few days or your are staying in the city centre then it is probably best to catch a taxi from Valencia Airport. We also have advice on private Valencia Airport Transfers which often cost less than a traditional taxi but add that extra special touch to your break.
At the moment there is not a train service to and from the airport but there is a good selection of buses at Valencia Airport and of course the traditional airport taxis.
