The Weather in Tenerife is some of the healthiest and most pleasant in the world. Exceptionally mild winters and warm, but not too overpowering summers mean you can enjoy a year round holiday climate.
Tenerife Weather
The weather in Tenerife varies considerably depending on where you are staying:
the warmest climate is on the south and west sides of the island and nearer to El Teide you can sometimes find cold winds and snow for up to three months .but still enjoy a swim or lie on a beach an hour's drive away. The Trade winds, together with the refreshing Gulf air currents, are the major weather factors that contribute to Tenerife's climate
Tenerife features the lowest temperature differential between summer and winter than anywhere else in the world. There is the occasional rain, but there no specific rainy season. Overhead fans usually provide sufficient air movement to stay cool in the summer so air conditioning is rarely used.
The minimum and maximum annual average air temperatures in Tenerife are about 15ºC in winter and 24ºC in summer. The coastal areas enjoy the most sunshine and highest temperatures.
