You will find Seville Airport about 10 kms north west of the beautiful city centre.
Although Seville is the Capital of Andalucia which is home to the Costa Del Sol, Costa De La Luz, Costa Tropical and Costa Almeria, only around 20% of its passenger traffic is from outside Spain. Passenger numbers are climbing, and in 2009 just over 4 million people passed through the airport compared to just 1.8 million back in 1999. The airport handled 55,593 flights last year.

Car Hire
If you hire a car from the airport you can drive down to Jerez in just under an hour, Marbella on the Costa del Sol in around 3 hours and even Faro in Portugal in around 2½ hours.

Most of the passenger traffic at Seville Airport arrives on Internal Spanish flights. Seville Airport has increased the number of domestic and international flights over the summer period which ends on 24 October. The airlines will fly to 36 regular destinations with Ryanair flying to Girona almost daily, to Bristol twice weekly plus three flights to Cagliari Airport in Sardinia; Vueling operate flights to Tenerife North every Sunday; Ándalus to Marrakech twice weekly and Transavia.com fly to Paris-Orly daily.

Shuttle Bus Services
If you find the cost of a private transfer a bit expensive you might like to consider getting an online quote for booking a seat on a private shuttle bus which stops at the main resorts close to Seville Airport and is a much cheaper option.
Taxis
Getting from the Airport into the centre of Seville is easy and quick. If you catch a Seville Airport Taxi the journey will take you around 15 minutes and costs between €20 and €25 depending on which day and time that you travel. The taxi rank is just outside the terminal building.
Buses

Trains
tThere are no trains at Seville Airport but there are local Seville Trains which you can catch in the city centre. We have also written about using the trains in Spain to make your journey easier.
Departures
Within the Seville Airport Departures Hall there are 42 check in desks and 8 different boarding gates. In total there are seven shops and a couple of cafes at the airport. The largest shop Aldeasa which is a multistore that sells everything from cigarettes to perfume.
