Reus Beaches
July and August are the hottest months on the Costa Dorada, but it is warm enough to swim from April until October. Below are just some of the beaches which are located on this coastal paradise.
Beaches in Reus
Els
Eucaliptus beach in Amposta, Tarragona is a rustic,
unspoilt and uncrowded beach which has golden sand. It is a long
thin beach which can be quite windy and offers excellent facilities
including parking, restaurants, camping and a sports harbour which
is close by.
Sant Carles de la Rapita La Mora in Tarragona is a blue flag, semi-urban beach which does not get very crowded. It has golden sand and calm waters. Amenities include snack bars, restaurants, camping, water sports, showers, lifeguards and parking.
Torredembarra Waikiki in Tarragona is an isolated and unspoiled nudist beach. Access is gained by foot and it has golden sands and calm waters. There is a beach bar here and the Torredembarra sports harbour near by.
La Punta del Fangar beach in Deltebre in a long, thin beach with calm seas and golden sand, but it can be quite windy. For windsurfing enthusiasts L’Ampolla Sports Harbour is near by.
Getting around in Reus
If you are planning to explore the area outside of the city centre and play some golf or go to some of the more out of the way beaches then you might consider hiing a car There are a number of car hire firms based at Reus Airport who will be pleased to have a vehicle awaiting your arrival. This also cuts down on transfer costs for you and your family.
