As you approach Port Aventura you will see there are two car parks available. If you have hired a car then you can expect to pay around €8 for the day. You will stop at a barrier when you enter the park grounds where an attendant will be waiting to direct you to either the ‘Seat Toledo’ or ‘Seat Ibiza’ car park.

There is a tourist information office and customer assistance office at the entrance to Port Aventura Theme Park that provide information about the surrounding area and everything within the park.

There are rides of all sizes and to ensure complete safety each one has its own guide saying how tall you have to be to experience it. The park is divided into countries including Mexico, the Far West, Mediterrania, Polynesia and China. Mexico offers a Sacred Serpent ride which is good for young children as it is gentle compared to some of the other rides. Polynesia has a Kontiki Wave which is a swinging pirate ship which is also suitable for younger children. In the Far West area is a mini roller-coaster called the Tomahawk and Buffalo Rodeo dodgem cars (which are especially designed for children).
