Palma Airport Buses

There are two types of buses from Palma Airport: public transport and private shuttle buses

If you are travelling to one of the resorts close to Palma Airport it might be better to pre book a seat on a shared shuttle bus via Shuttle Direct or you can get a quote for a private Palma airport transfer.

The bus which operates from Palma Airport is Line 1 which runs between the airport and Palma city centre and a new bus route (21) has just started operating linking the Palma airport with S'Arenal. It will run at 30 minute interals during the summer season and 60 minutes in winter.

The earliest departure from the Airport and S'Arenal is 07:00 and the latest is 00:30 from the Airport and 01:00 from S'Arenal.

The single fare is €2.00

The bus leaves from the Palma Airport arrivals floor across from the car park at regular 15 minute intervals.

The bus stop is about a two minute walk from the terminal building or and there is also a moving walkway to transport you across the car park if you prefer.

The buses have an autocue at the front which tells which you which is the next stop and the Palma Airport Bus stops along the route as follows:

From Palma Airport: airport (arrivals), airport petrol station, Joan Maragall (GESA), Av. Gabriel Alomar i Villalonga., Plaça d'Espanya, Av. Compte de Sallent, Passeig de Mallorca, Av. Argentina, Passeig Marítim, Can Barbara, Auditorium, Club de Mar, Port de Palma, Portopí, Estació Marítima, Museu Sant Carles, Escola Nautica, Dic de l'Oest

From Palma back to the airport: Dic de l'Oest, Portopí, Port de Palma, Passeig Marítim, Sa Feixina, Passeig de Mallorca, Instituts, Av. Alemanya, Plaça d'Espanya, Av. d'Alexandre Rosselló, Porta des Camp, Joan Maragall (GESA), airport (departures), airport (arrivals).

Departs from Palma Airport: 06:10, 06:35, 06:55, 07:15 last departures: 00:45, 01:15, 01:45, 02:15

Departs from Dic de l'oest in Palma: 05:30, 05:55, 06:15, 06:30 last departures: 01:00, 01:30, 02:00, 02:30

Your other option is to book a private Palma Airport Transfer or reserve a seat on the shuttle bus service provided by Shuttle Direct

Our advice for the Palma Airport buses is as always, if you are in a hurry or have definite plans do not rely on the Bus. If you need to be somewhere within a certain time take a Palma Airport taxi or better still, arrange your own private Palma Airport transfer
