Hi Ferah,
Rota is 48km from Jerez Airport (about a 45 minute drive) and a taxi (which will take up to 4 people) will cost you in the region of €70 single fare.
There are no trains into Rota, and another option is to book a seat on a private shuttle bus from Jerez Airport to Rota or you can get a bus from Rota to Jerez
Linda
Dear Gary
I saw your address on the net and would be grateful if you could please let me know how I can get from Jerez airport to the resort of Rota on the Costa De La Luz.
Many thanks
Ferah
Thank you for your help
Hi Eileen,
I am afraid there are no trains or direct buses from Gibraltar to Jerez. If you walk across the border into Spain and cross the road you can get a bus from La Linea to Seville and then a connection to Jerez. Or you can get a train from Seville to Jerez.
It’s a 110 km journey which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to drive, and again you need to get a taxi from La Linea (they are waiting at the border entrance) and it will cost in the region of €160 for up to 4 passengers single fare.
Linda
Hi we need to get from the airport in gibraltar to jerzes in October is there a train or how much would a taxi be?
Thank
Hi Kelly,
I’m afraid there is no direct train from Alicante to Fuengirola. You have to get a train from Alicante to Malaga (with a change at Madrid) and then another train from Malaga to Fuengirola.
Linda
Dear Gary,
Could you please let me know the best way to travel from Alicante to Malaga (Fuengirola) by train.
Many thanks for your assistance.
Best regards

Hi Anne,
If you click on this link it gives you all the details you need of trains from Murcia to Valencia.
Linda
Hi
Can you tell me how easy it is to get from Murcia Airport to Valencia by train? How long does it take? How do you book train tickets?
Many thanks
Anne
i Linda,
I figured out what to do..thanks!
It appears much cheaper than taking a taxi from La Coruna – Betanzos…but the time is late 6:40 and my plane arrives about 2:10.
Is the train station far from the airport? Would there be taxis there waiting?
Perhaps on my return I can take the train to La Coruna station and then take a taxi to the airport.
Is that a reasonable idea?
Thank you,
Mary-Ann
Hi again Mary Ann,
The code is the days of the week which are as follows:
monday – lunes, tuesday – martes, wednesday – miércoles, thursday – jueves, friday – viernes, saturday – sábado and sunday – domingo
Linda
Hello,
Thank you. I found the city names but I couldn’t figure out how to see what day of the week the schedule was for. There is a code but I couldn’t understand it…I am arriving on a Saturday and departing on a Thursday.
Mary-Ann
Hi Mary-Ann,
There is only a very limited bus service from A Coruna Airport and I cannot find a route which goes to Betanzos I’m afraid. But if you click on this link you can get details of trains from Renfe station in the centre of A Coruna to Betanzos.
It’s a 20km journey from Coruna Airport to Betanzos so a taxi (which will take up to 4 people and which you can pick up from outside the arrivals hall) will cost in the region of €28 single fare.
Linda
Hello,
Is there bus from the A Coruna airport to Betanzos that I could take on Saturday, July 19 after 2 pm?
Also, is there a bus going from Betanzos to the airport in Coruna on July 24 in the morning?
I could not get this information from your website.
May thanks,
Mary-Ann
