Remember that the use of a mobile telephone whilst driving - other than a true hands-free - is now banned in Spain. You may not have any device in your ears to listen to music or your mobile phone and the only exception is something like a deaf aid to assist your hearing. You cannot use your telephone at the side of the road and have to pull completely away from any traffic. You still see erratic driving where a mobile is in use and a new law has just come into force in Spain which means that licence penalty points will now be awarded.
Driving in a foreign country is never easy and Spain is no exception. Remember you will be using new and unknown roads, looking out for unfamiliar landmarks to strange place names which have different signposting. If you are from the UK you will also be driving on the other side of the road
