Arrivals Malaga Airport
There are just over 12 million people passing through the Malaga Airport arrivals hall each year. This is currently the fourth busiest airport in Spain.
If for any reason the website is not working or you can't find details of the specific flight that you are looking for then please telephone the airport on (0034) 952 048 484.
There are actually two terminals at Malaga Airport About 95% of all traffic from within the EU arrives at Terminal 2 which is the larger newer terminal.
The Terminal 2 arrivals hall for
passengers on domestic flights (except Ceuta and Melilla), or coming
from Schengen countries, the UK and Ireland, there is a shopping
area with a bank, a press and book shop, cafeteria and a baggage
hall with a total of ten carousels.
The arrivals hall of Terminal 1 is reserved for passengers coming
from non-Schengen countries and Ceuta and Melilla. Here there are
six luggage carousels.
In the summer and other really busy times the occasional flights from ireland and the UK are put through terminal 1. If this happens to you don't panic, terminal 1 and 2 are connected simply follow the signs to terminal 2 if this is where you have arranged to meet someone.
If you are collecting someone at the airport I am sure that you will head for the main arrivals hall in Terminal 2, when you get there just look up on the electronic board and make sure there isn't a flashing T1, if there is your flight has landed in Terminal 1.
I once spent about an hour looking for someone at the airport who had been diverted through to T1 not T2!
After you have collected your bags from the carousel head out into the arrivals hall. Signs for the buses, trains and taxis are everywhere and there are toilets in the far left hand corner of the hall.
If you are meeting someone at the airport I would arrange to meet them in the Golf Bar which is on the left of the hall as you come through.
