Madrid Airport Parking

Madrid Airport parking both short and long term is easy to find and relatively cheap.

There are seven public car parks: Car parks P1, P2 and P4 (located in terminal buildings T1, T2/3 and T4 respectively);

Madrid-Barajas airport has over 10,000 parking places. Specifically, there are seven public parking areas: car parks P1, P2 and P4 (located in the terminal buildings Madrid Airport T1 and Madrid Airport T2/3 and T4. The short stay car park (T2); the VIP car park for T1, T2 and T3, the VIP car park for T4 and a long-stay car park which has 1,655 spaces.

The express car park has 39 spaces,is costly and parking is difficult, it may be better just to use one of the other car parks!

This is an open air car park in front of T1 which can accommodate 2,392 vehicles. There are fifteen ticket payment machines in P1 (7 exclusively for cards and one for the disabled). The daily and monthly parking rates must be paid in advance. The payment machines accept nearly all notes and coins (Euros).

Credit cards are also accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard and American Express. Credit cards have a limit. For Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard it is €90.15. For Diners and American Express €120.20.

Payments for higher amounts have to be made at a manned window. You have to pay before you can get your vehicle out of the car park. Once you have paid, you have twenty minutes in which to leave the car park.

Rates: First half hour or less €0.62, second half hour or less €0.98, each hour or part of an hour €1.60. Daily maximum for up to 4 days €17.45. Daily maximum from the fifth day €13.95.

This car park offers 4437 spaces distributed on seven floors and divided into four modules (A, B, C and D). It has short term and express parking facilities. A ring road distributes the vehicles over four modules. The first floor accesses the terminals via a central passageway.

There are several cash machines and an information booth at the entrance of the four-module building (first floor) and beside the new module.The payment machines accept nearly all notes and coins (Euros). This comprises six annexed modules, each of which have five storeys which can accommodate up to 7,795 vehicles. From the car-park you come straight out on to the first floor of T4 and from there you can go up to check-in (on the second floor) or go down to arrivals (ground floor).

P4 is a very modern car park offering information on the available places through a light signalling system. There are 36 automatic payment machines (20 for card payments only and 4 for the disabled), plus 2 manually operated payment desks.

The machines accept nearly all euro bank notes and coins. They also accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and American Express. There is a limit on the credit cards. For Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard it is € 90.15. For Diners and American Express it is € 120.20. Payments for higher amounts must be made manually at the information post. Payment must be made before leaving the car park. Once payment has been made, users have 20 minutes to leave the car park.

Rates: First 30 minutes €0.62; next 30 minutes €0.98; hourly rate thereafter €1.60 up to a maximum daily rate up to 4 days €17.45; maximum daily rate from fifth day €13.95.

Short-term public car park is just a few metres from the Arrivals hall of T2. It accommodates 39 vehicles and for stays of more than 30 minutes we recommend you use another car park.

Rates: First thirty minutes €0.60; from minute 31 €0.10 per minute (€3 per hour). Maximum daily rate €60.

Short-stay public car park with a capacity for 760 vehicles which is open from 6:30am to 10:30pm

Rates: first 30 minutes €1.20 ; one hour €3.00; one and a half hours €5.50; two hours €8.40; every additional 30-minute period, 3.00 € ; loss of ticket €70.20; 24 hours €140.40.

Car park with 1,655 spaces situated on Logroño Avenue, outside the airport area. A free bus that takes passengers to the airport terminals. Buses run continually from 7:00 am to midnight. Waiting times are less than 10 minutes. The service can be requested through the intercoms located at arrivals in T1, T2 and T3 from 0.00 to 7.00.
