Close to Petrol Station and a short distance from the Biosfera Shopping Centre, Quintins specialises in fine dining and modern European dishes offering the freshest sea food, meat and vegetables available on the island which are purchased in Arrecife on a daily basis. Quintins has seating for 50 people on two floors in a spacious and friendly atmosphere.

Beside the pharmacy in the Old Town, El Cangrejo Rojo (the Red Crab) offers some incredible views of the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura and the South of Lanzarote. El Cangrejo Rojo specialities include freshly caught fish, flambé dishes and chargrilled meats including succulent pork fillet with gorgonzola Sauce and king prawns in champagne sauce. The restaurant has an extensive wine list with some of Lanzarote’s most popular wines and Spanish reserves. Rice, pasta and a children's menu are also available.

Casa Roja (Red House) overlooks the harbour in the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen. It serves sea food specialities including grilled lobster, grilled bieja (typical Canarian Fish), fish in Canarian Mojo Sauce, king prawns and sole waleska. Steaks, pastas, paella and a very reasonably priced children's menu are also available.

El Tomate is one of the most popular and well-established restaurants in Lanzarote which opened in 1984. Specialities include tomato soup with green pepper, gin pickled salmon with rosti, sole fillet with baked baby calamares and noodles, turkey "riojana" with special hot tomato sauce, roast potatoes and mixed salad and mousse au chocolat or home made apple cake with vanilla ice cream.

Getting around in Lanzarote
