Rancho Texas Park

Located just outside Puerto del Carmen on the airport road, the Rancho Texas is a large Western theme park with a nature park, Indian Village and theme restaurants which host Country and Western nights).

The nature park has a wide variety of animals and birds including crocodiles, turtles, iguanas, armadillos, prairie-dogs and birds of prey. There is a special petting area where children can touch and cuddle small farm animals.

In the Indian Village small children can play in the tepees and canoes and search for treasure in the gold mine. There is an Indian amphitheatre with falconry demonstrations.

Costa Teguise Aquapark

The Costa Teguise Aquapark is on the outskirts of the resort and features a good selection of high speed slides for teens and adults, with slower ones for younger children.

Guinate Tropical Park

The Guinate Tropical Park is situated on the outskirts of Guinate which is a small village 5km north west of Arrieta. The park is home to a wide selection of exotic birds and wild animals from all over the world including parrots, meercats and ostriches. There is a show every hour throughout the day where you can see a selection of the animals close up.
