Lanzarote and the rest of the Canary Islands enjoy a special "Duty Free" Tax status. Cigarettes, Alcohol, Perfumes and Petrol are much cheaper than in Mainland Spain and the rest of the EU. These duty free goods are usually much cheaper in the Resorts and Towns than in Lanzarote Airport and onboard the Airplane.
Cigarettes, Cigars and Alcohol can be purchased at very reasonable prices in nearly every supermarket in the main resorts. Perfume can be purchased in the many Perfumeries that are found in the main resorts.
Just be careful about your allowance for taking back these goods to your own Country.
