Bringing food items in from Trinidad to Zaragoza

Hi Nalo,

As long as the food is in your hold luggage and not you hand baggage it is OK to bring it over.

Hope you enjoy your time here.

Linda

Dear Sir,

This is my first trip to Zaragoza, Spain, I travelling all the way from Trinidad and Tobago with a Steel Band Contingent that would be part of the Expo 2008.

Some of the members of the band were wondering whether or not it would be a problem to pack food itmes in our luggage that would be placed to the bottom of the plane as we are not sure of the delicacies of your country would be to our taste.

We are scheduled to leave Trinidad on 5th May 2008 as an urgent response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Nalo Sampson (Ms.)

Flying from Zaragoza to malaga

Hi Deborah,

Swiftair operate flights from Zaragoza to Malaga. Their flights are operated by a Spanish company called Plaza Servicios: you can find out more details at http://www.plazaserviciosaereos.net/

I know the website is in Spanish and if you have problems with it then you visit contact www.swiftair.com and email them for assistance (although their website does not have any flight details).

Linda

I should be grateful if you would let me know if there are any direct flights from Zaragoza to Malaga and if so with which airline.

Many thanks.

Getting from Zaragoza to Jaca

Hi Jane,

I am afraid there are no coaches from Zaragoza Airport to Jaca. The only way you can get there by public transport is to go to the RENFE station at Zaragoza and catch a train. The bad news is that there are only three a day with departure times of 07.45, 10.20 and 15.20. The journey time is just over three hours and the single fare is either €10.25 or €13.20 depending on which train you catch. For full details visit http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir120.jsp&O=ZARAG&D=?&AF=2007&MF=MM&DF=DD&SF=NaN&ID=i
The buses from the airport into Zaragoza run according to flight times so you can probably get a bus into the city when you arrive. For further information you can call the bus company on 0034 976 554 588. This will cost about €1.80 or a taxi will be around €20. If you decided to get a taxi all the way to Jaca then as a rough guide it would cost you around €160 (drivers charge about €1 per km travelled) and the journey time would be about two hours, but be sure to get a quote before you set off.

Your only other alternative is to hire a car and you can get a competitive quote from http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/car-hire-spain.html

This might well mean that you end up staying in Zaragoza overnight and you can find a selection of places to stay at http://www.alpharooms.com/guide/spain/zaragoza/default.aspx?r=TD&tduid=c667969d8aeedd31301ab2456b8856b2&affId=1039984

Hope you manage to sort something out

Linda

Arriving at Zaragoza Airport

Gary,

I will be visiting Zaragoza next week for a conference. I will be departing Zaragoza next Sunday (21 Apr) on a flight to Paris at around 0800. I was wondering how early I should plan on arriving at the Zaragoza airport to catch my 0800 flight, and what time the airport normally opens on Sunday mornings.

Thank you for your advice.

Sincerely,

Brian

My Reply...

Hi Brian

I would aim to get to the airport at least an hour before your flight. The airports dont really ahve opening times. As far as I know this airport is open throughout the night albeit without any shops or cafes open!

Good luck

Regards

Gary

Hi Owain
Getting information on the bus services is very very difficult and even with our contacts we find it difficult to answer these questions.
However I have found a route through this company and you can call them and speak English...

Zaragoza Airport to Barcelona

Hi
Hi Gary please could you tell me how much a taxi for x7 people zaragoza airport to Barcelona would cost please ,
Many thanks

Andy

My Reply...

Zaragoza Airport to Barcelona is a long way. Around 300 kms depending on where abouts in Barcelona Etc.

We normally work on around 1€uro a km plus a little extra.

You will need to find a taxi big enough as many only take 4. So then you would need 2 taxis.

You could look at getting a train at www.renfe.es

I hope this helps
