Lost property at Vigo Airport

Hi John,

You need to get in contact with lost property at Vigo airport. You can email them at CoordinacionVGO@aena.es

Linda

Was there a Nokia phone handed in to Vigo airport on 10th July at 11pm. When turned on it says dad smells.

I may have lost my phone outside the airport that evening.

Thanks

Travelling from Vigo to Santiago de Compostela

thank you so much for the help!

Hi Jan,

In answer to your questions:

1. You can get to the railway station from Vigo Airport is by bus - details
at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/vigo-airport.html. Or you can get a
taxi (which is the better option) and which will take 3 passengers and cost
around ?18.
2. See 4
3. There is no left luggage storage at Vigo Airport (Spanish Airports are
notoriously bad at providing this facility), but you should be able to hire
a locker at the Renfe station.
4. I am afraid I don't know what the rail traffic is like in that part of
Spain over the Easter period so to ensure a seat you may well be better off
booking your tickets in advance.

Late arrival at Vigo Airport

Hi Gary

this is my first flight into your airport and its a
late flight from madrid arrives at 00.10 .
I cannot tell from the airport- wed page link to
hotels as to whether there is a hotel in the airport
grounds or whether I need to travel down town La
Coruna.

On the next day, I am taking a bus to Vigo

Could you guide me as the nearest hotel or one close
to the bus station ?

Are there taxis running from the airport at that hour
?

Many thanks Gary

Mary

Hi Mary,

I am not sure which airport you are travelling into. If it is La Coruna then there will be taxis waiting at the airport as long as flights are arriving so you will be able to get one into the centre of town. As far as hotels are concerned you are better off staying in La Coruna and if you follow this link it give you details of some of the central ones http://www.acorunahotels.com/

Linda

Thanks Linda for the reply.

If there a hotel on the airport campus ?
The hotel web sites are not showing the presence of
such a hotels.

Cheers
MAry

Hi Mary,

There is nothing at the airport I'm afraid and you will need to get a taxi into town.

Many thanks

Getting from Vigo to Sanxenxo

Hi Oliver,

Vigo does not have good public transport communication links I'm afraid. You can get a bus or taxi into the centre of Vigo to the railway station - details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/vigo-airport.html and then get a train to Pontevedra which is the nearest station to Sanxenxo. Timetables etc at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/vigo-airport.html. A taxi from Pontevedra to Sanxenxo (it's an 18km journey) will cost in the region of €25-30.

If you get a taxi from Vigo Airport to Sanxenxo it's a 45km journey so a taxi will cost around €60-70.

Linda

Hy Gary

I would like to know whether you could tell me the best way how to get to/from Vigo airport from/to Sanxenxo.

Thank you very much in advance,

sincerely,

Oliver Toepfer

Can you tell me whether any airlines fly direct from any UK airports to Vigo, please?
Jamie Symington

My Reply...

Hi jamie
There are'nt any!
You would need to go to Madrid and change onto and Iberia Airlines flight...
OR fly to Santiago de Compostela which is about 80 kms away...
Many of the flights that arrive at the airport are from internal Spanish flights. Iberia and Spanair offer the best selection of flights and you can fly to and from Santiago De Compostela from: Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Rome, Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Madrid, Malaga, Palma, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia.
We offer information on flights from:
