Getting from Valladolid to Pamplona

Hi Michael,

There are no direct bus links from Valladolid Airport to Pamplona. All I can suggest is that you get from Valladolid Airport to the Renfe station in the city centre and then get a train from Valladolid to Pamplona (which involves one change).

If you want to go by bus then you can get a bus from Valladolid to Burgos and then connect from Burgos to Pamplona or get a train from Burgos to Pamplona.

Your other option is to hire a car at Valladolid Airport but it is a 350km journey will take you about 3 hours 30 minutes to drive it.

Linda

Hey,

I am flying into Valladolid on Sunday morning around 11.00 and need to get to Pamplona. What is my best option?

Getting from Valladolid Airport to Zamora

Hi Amy,

I don't know of anyone who operates private transfers with minibuses from Valladolid. It's a 107km journey so a taxi will cost in the region of €130 and it can only take 4 people so will be costly for 10 of you. You can book a taxi by telephoning 983 291 411 or 983 297 755

It's probably worth trying to hire a minibus. You can get a free online quote for car hire by clicking on this link.

Or there is one train a day from the centre of Valladolid to Zamora.

Linda

Dear Sirs,

I have a group of 10 adults who will be flying into Valladolid airport on June 26th. We need to book a bus or a taxi to get us from the airport to our hotel in Zamora. Do you have any suggestions?

Can we book something in advance?

Thank you and kind regards,

Amy Brosch

Car hire at Valladolid

Afraid I don't know them. It is worth getting an online quote through Cartrawler to see if they can match up your requirements and you can also ask them if the car hire companies based at the airport have arrangements for pick ups when they are not open. Usually they have something in place to meet the Ryanair flights. Follow this link for more info http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/valladolid-airport-car-hire.html

Hi i'm travelling to Valladolid Airport with ryanair in April arriving at around 11am. I want to hire a car, but none of the 3 rental offices are open at that time (only from 1330). A company called hispacar say that can provide a car. Do you know of this company ?

Getting from Valladolid to Salamanca

Thanks for the info.
Regards,
Lydia Hirst

Hi Lydia,

You can get a train from Valladolid Renfe Station which is in the centre of town. Timetables and prices can be found at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=10600&D=30100&AF=2007&MF=10&DF=21&SF=0&ID=i

To get from the airport to the city centre you can get a bus - details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/valladolid-airport.html but because they are not very frequent you may be better off getting a taxi which will cost in the region of €20.

Linda

Could you please advise the best way of travelling from Valladolid airport to Salamanca on Sun Oct 21 in the afternoon and then returning from Salamanca sunday Oct 28?
Regards,
Lydia Hirst

Lost and found number at Valladolid

Hi Annie,

Valladolid is a very small airport and does not have a special lost and found number, but the general number there is 0034 983 415 500

Linda

Hey Gary,
I lost my camera during a flight from Faro to Brussels on a Ryan Air flight, only to have the plane fly out to Valladolid. If possible could you send me the phone number for Lost & Found at Valladolid airport?
Thanks,
Annie

Flights from Blackpool to Valladolid

Hi Craig,

I think it's pretty unlikely that there will be any Blackpool flights to Valladolid in the foreseeable future. As you probably already know Ryanair are the main operator there and at the moment the only flights they make from Blackpool are to Barcelona and Dublin! With the limited flight service that Valladolid currently offers I suspect any plans for direct flights there are well into the future.

As far as Matacan is concerned it is even more limited than Valladolid. It is impossible to predict what will happen on future routes. At the moment a lot of airlines are still hedging their bets with their winter 2007 timetables and not even committing on whether they will fly some of their established routes to the smaller airports. If only I had a crystal ball!

Sorry I can't be of more help but airlines really do keep their options open on future routes and you only tend to hear about them 2 or 3 months before they start to operate.

Linda

Hi Linda ,
Oops , i meant to put valladolid ! sorry !
The thing is , i am living in Salamanca , and i am looking to buy a property
, i was just after any tips as to if they would ever get around to doing
direct flights Valladolid to Blackpool ( without the London stop ) or indeed
if there would in the future , be flights to England from Matacan ,
Salamanca ?
Any ideas you can give me will be very much appreciated ,
Gracias , y un saludo
Craig

Motorcycle Parking at Valladolid Airport

Hi Gary,
Please can you let me know if the car parking charges apply to motorcycle too?

Kind regards,

Steve Bidmead.

MY REPLY

Hi Steve,

Interesting question!

I am 99% sure that there is not a charge for motorbikes BUT I do not have one and cant be 100% certain.

Perhaps after you have been there you could let us know so we can add the info to the site.

Good luck

Regards

Linda

Hi Sarah

The buses at Valladolid Airport run between the City and the Airport. There are three buses per day. During the week these buses leave the airport at 1515, 1615 and 1920. The times at weekends and holidays vary. For more information call: 0034 983 230 033
