Taxi fares from Seville to Ayamonte

Hi Pat,

As an approximate guide, taxi fares should be as follows:

Seville Airport to Ayamonte is 154km journey (hope this is correct as it is in Huelva as I don't know of an "Almonte" in Spain): cost in the region of €200
City Centre to Ayamonte is 140km journey and will cost in region of €180
Ayamonte to Seville Airport (same as above)

Taxis in Spain charge a flat fee and it makes no difference whether there are one, two or three passengers. You can check the cost of the fare with the driver before you set off as they have a book of charges.

Your other alternative is to get a taxi into Seville (cost around €20) then a train from the station in the centre of Seville - details at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir110.jsp&O=?&D=
?&AF=2007&MF=MM&DF=DD&SF=NaN&ID=i and then get a taxi to Ayamonte which is a 54km journey and will cost around €75.

Linda

Geting from Seville or Cordoba to Lagos

Hi Jody,

The only Spanish Airport I know of that operate flights into Lagos is Madrid Barajas. It is via Iberia Airlines and you can get details at http://www.iberia.com/OneToOne/v3/bookingForm.do?BV_SessionID=@@@@1016782546.1184424148@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccjaddlhgeijdhcfngcfkmdfhmdfnn.0
I presume you mean to fly out on 2nd August, and as you will see from the link there is a flight on that day. Iberia also fly from Seville to Madrid so you can book right through with them.

Linda

Getting from Faro to Seville

Thanks Linda!
I really appreciate your help.
Will take a look at eva - bus
Kind regards,
Louise

Hi Louise,

I've searched just about every website I can think of to help you out and all I can find is www.eva-bus.com
who run a bus from Faro to Seville. There are two buses daily, but the morning one would not get you to Seville in time for a midday flight so you will have to go the night before.

I can't find any train services at all that would be of any use to you.

Hope the bargain flight doesn't prove too costly - we've all done it!

Regards,

Linda

Hi Gary,
I've been a bit of a numpty and booked flights from Seville airport on 20th Sept to Palma with Air Berlin.
No problem there then - except we need to get to Seville airport from Vilamoura for a midday flight.
It all seemed remarkably easy at the time and I assumed we could rent a car in Portugal and drop it off in Spain. Wrong!
Could you please tell me if there is a reliable bus/train service that would get us to Seville airport in time, or do you think we'll have to travel the night before?
So much for a bargain flight from Seville to Palma! ( 18 euros each)
Kind regards,
Louise
