Hiring a minibus at Malaga Airport

Hi Steven,

I don't know of any car hire company who rents out a minibus larger than a 9 seater (+ driver) because anything larger than this and you hit all sorts of problems with your driving licence. If you follow this link you can get more details http://www.atesa.es/flota_minibus_eng.asp

You other option is to organise a private transfer (which would be driven by someone with a coach driver's licence) - you can get a quote at http://www.shuttledirect.com/en/php/airport_shuttle_direct.php

Linda

Hi Gary,

Can you recommend a minibus hire company for a return trip for 13 people between Malaga Airport and Mijas ?

Booking train tickets from Malaga to Jerez

Hi Christine,

You can book a ticket on the Tiknet website - this link takes you into the English version - https://w1.renfe.es/vbi/indexu.html

But just in case your flight is delayed and because there are so many trains to choose from, I would not book a specific train and wait and get a ticket at the station when you arrive.

Linda

Hi Linda,

Thank you so much for the information/web sites sent to me. I think I will try travellling to Jerez by train as the information was pretty clear. One thing I worry about is if I need to book a train ticket in advance and if so how do I do it?

Many thanks again for the useful information

Christine

How to get from malaga Airport to Morocco

There are no direct buses or trains from Malaga Airport to the western end of the Costa del Sol which is where you get a ferry to Morocco. The airport bus only goes as far as Marbella and the train stops at Fuengirola. Your best best is to hire a car at the airport - we provide full details on how to do this at http://www.malaga-airport-guide.com/malaga-car-hire.html

You need to get to get a ferry from either Tarifa or Algeciras to Tangier and can get costs and timetables from both ports at http://www.directferries.co.uk/morocco.htm .

Hope this is of help

Linda

What would be the best way for me to get from Malago to Morrocco? Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!!!
