You will find the Hertz rent a car offices clearly marked within
the terminal building at Tenerife South Airport next to the baggage
reclaim area.
The documents involved in renting a hire car with Hertz are as follows:
- The Rental Agreement is the document you sign and receive a copy of when you pick up your vehicle. It details and optional services you may have requested and will contain the rental details (dates, car group, agreement number, mileage); basic rental charges (detailed breakdown of the daily rental rates); miscellaneous charges or credits (which is a breakdown of mandatory charges) and the total cost of rental in euros.
- The Statement of Charges will be available when you return the vehicle and shows the final total rental cost. It is not a tax invoice and includes all of the information on the Rental Agreement plus the status of the account (whether it is due for payment).
The Rental Invoice is a tax invoice, contains the same information as the Statement of Charges, and will be posted the day after you return the vehicle. This document can be used for expense claims or business accounting.
