To be eligible for booking a hire ar with Avis you will need to:

• Be aged 23 or over at the date of the rental
• Have held a full, clean driving licence for at least a year
• Have a valid payment card for Pay Now rates

And when making the booking you will need to provide Avis with:

• Your dates and times of travel
• Your Avis car rental location(s)
• Details of the car you would like to drive

When you make a booking in the UK the quote includes: cost of the actual vehicle, including unlimited mileage : Vehicle licence fee: any airport surcharge (an additional charge at premium locations where the rent is higher): IVA: Vehicle Damage Cover and Vehicle theft cover (excess applies)

When collecting your car you will be asked to:

• Provide Avis with your driving licence and credit card
• Choose any additional cover that you would like
• Decide which fuel option is the best for you
• Check and sign your rental agreement if you are not an Avis Preferred member
• Check the rent a car for any existing damage

When returning your car:

• Make every effort to return it by the agreed time
• Return your keys to the Avis desk or use the Rapid Return mobile check-in service
• Avis will check for damage and fuel level
• Final payment for your total rental will be processed, and you will be sent an invoice through the post or via email
