Gran Canaria Airport Parking

The short and long term car park at Gran Canaria Airport can be found directly opposite the main airport terminal building.

At the moment there are over ten million people using Gran Canaria airport each year which makes it the fifth largest airport in Spain in terms of its passenger traffic.

In total there are 2111 parking spaces available at the airport with 38 places reserved for disabled use. The car park is always busy as many people come to and from the airport to drop off and collect family and loved ones.

The costs for the car parking are: first half hour free, second half hour or part thereof €0.52, per hour or part of an hour €1.03, daily charge of €10.30 (up to a maximum of 4 days), fifth day charge €8.25.

There are seven automatic payment machines with three on Floor A (upper level) and three on Floor C (lower level): these machines only accept euro notes and coins. If you wish to pay by credit card then go to the manual payment machine at the information point on Level A.

If you are planning to leave your car at the airport for more than a few days it may be better to organise private Gran Canaria airport transfers or to catch one of the Gran Canaria airport buses or Gran Canaria taxis.

If you are meeting someone in the arrivals hall then it is worth parking in the car park, do not attempt to just leave your car outside or on the pavement, it will be towed away immediately. If you are dropping someone off it may also be easier to park up and walk them into the terminal building so that you can say a proper goodbye rather than just dropping off outside the departures hall.
