The Casa Museo Leon y Castillo bears the surname of a nineteenth century Canarian family that were prominent public figures, and contains a collection of 16th - 19th century paintings and antiques.

The Museo Canario chronicles the Aboriginal Guanche population and houses a very important collection of mummified remains, as well as pottery relics such and stone tools. The Museo y Parque Arqueológico Cueva Pintada is attached to the Cueva Pintada (Painted Cave) archaeological site, and besides cave paintings the museum has a number of Guanche artefacts that have been excavated from the site.
