I last visited Girona Airport in December 2005 and have updated the details about the facilities here. Girona Airport (Gerona Airport) on the Costa Brava is an important airport for tourism in north-east Spain with over 3.5 million passengers passing through its doors in 2006 with more than 33,000 flights being handled. It is the gateway to the Pyrenees and is located around 10kms from Girona City centre and 90 kms from Barcelona Airport.
