Gibraltar Airport Buses

Gibraltar Airport is located just 2 kilometres from the town centre adjacent to the frontier with Spain. There is a regular bus service to the town and taxis are available from a taxi rank opposite the airport

There are a number of tour buses which you will find are waiting just outside the airport terminal at Gibraltar.

The two main buses are also there and they have routes which will get around the island. They run at frequent intervals or you might prefer to arrange car hire from Gibraltar Airport.

There are also daily bus services from Málaga and Algeciras to the border town of La Línea de la Concepcion, where you can get a connecting bus direct to the airport check in, saving you the trouble of walking over the border crossing. Our information is somewhat limited on this, but it seems there is some form of preliminary check in at La Linea and the service is free.

Route 3 - From Airport Terminal to Europa Point

Stops: Airport Terminal , Winston Curchill Avenue (Referendum House), Line Wall Road (North, American Steps), Line Wall Road (Centre, British Steps), Line Wall Road (South, Cathedral Square), Main Street (South Port Gates), Elliot's Way (Grand Parade), Europa Road (Rock Hotel), Europa Road (Casino), Europa Road (Shorthorn Estate), Europa Road (Brymptom), Europa Road (Garrison Gym), Europa Road (Royal Naval Hospital), Europa Road (Buena Vista), Europa Road (Elliot's Battery), Europa Point (Light House)

Monday to Friday 06.25 to 2.100 every 15 minutes: Saturdays 06.30 to 21.00 every 20 minutes: Sundays 08.00 to 21.00 every 30 minutes.

Route 9 - Airport Terminal to Market Place

Stops: Airport Terminal, Winston Churchill Avenue (Referendum House), Glasis Road (St. Anne's School), Market Place

Monday to Friday 07.00 to 21.00 every 10 minutes: Saturdays 07.00 to 21.00 every 15 minutes: Sundays 09.00 to 21.00 every 30 minutes

Route 10 - Airport Terminal to Europort

This route is run by Calypso and is distinguishable from the other services as it uses red London double decker buses.

Stops. Airport Terminal, Windsor Churchill Avenue, Glacis Road, Watergardens, Sir William Jackson Grove/Morrisons Supermarket, Europort, British War Memorial (Reclamation Road)

Monday to Friday 08.15 to 20.00 every 15 minutes: Saturdays 08.40 to 19.20 every 30 minues : Sundays 09.45 to 18.00 shuttle service.
