Taxis at Fuerteventura Airport
The easiest way of transferring to your holiday resort is via a bus at Fuerteventura Airport or by catching a Fuerteventura Airport Taxi.
If you want to add a bit of luxury to your trip you may prefer (and actually find it cheaper) to pre-book a Private Fuerteventura Transfers.
You will find the waiting taxis parked straight in front of you
as you come out of the main arrivals area from the airport terminal
building, just after you have collected your cases. There is a large board there displaying prices to the main resorts
PLEASE NOTE: The taxis can only carry 4 people, if you are part of a larger group you should book a Private Fuerteventura Transfer.
Fuerteventura Airport Taxis
Prices are charged at two rates:
Fare 1 (from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, working days): all or part of each kilometre: €0.47 minimum fare: €2.68; price per hour waiting, €12.79 and fractional rate for every 15 minutes, €3.20.
Fare 2 (from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am and all day holidays): all or part of each kilometre: €0.58 minimum fare: €3.21; price per hour waiting, €12.79 and fractional rate for every 15 minutes, €3.20.
The table below also shows the current prices from Fuerteventura Airport (for up to 4 people). There is also an airport supplement of €1.65

These prices are obviously subject to change but can be used as a rough guide. If your destination is not on this list then ask the driver for a price before setting off on your journey.

Fuerteventura has a more than ample supple of taxis and most of the towns have taxi ranks that are easy to find. The majority of the drivers can speak some English, but it will make things much easier if you write down your destination address clearly. Most of the taxis are in good condition but always wear your seatbelt as they can be crazy drivers!
