Orlando International Airport ranks among the 30th busiest airports in the world with over 30 million passengers passing through its doors every year. It operates more flights - with more seats - to more US destinations than any other airport in Florida.

Orlando International has exceptional passenger and flight handling facilities with the average time taken by international passengers between disembarking from the aircraft and leaving the airport just 46 minutes. The airport has 44 checkpoints which clear up to 2,600 passengers per hour. There is also a dedicated lounge on Airside 4 for international passengers in transit.

You can check the monitors in the main terminal to find out which is the correct baggage carousel for your flight. You can take the stairs, escalator or lift down to the Arrivals/Baggage Claim area on Level 2. Check-in for departing flights is on departures level 3 of the main terminal building and you should find out from your airline whether you need to be on the A or B side of the terminal.   You can be dropped off at the kerb on departures level 3, and can check-in there if you are travelling within the United States. Public transport facilities are to be found on the Ground Transportation Concourse on Level 1 of terminal 1 with buses departing at 30 minute intervals for downtown Orlando. Unfortunately there is no train station at the airport.  To make a connection to the rail network, you will have to take a taxi or bus to downtown Orlando to the Amtrak station at 1400 Sligh Blvd. We provide full details on the various routes and timetables of trains at Orlando Airport

There are three parking areas adjacent to the main terminals, and three more further away. It is often quicker to park in the off-site parks and take the free shuttle bus to the terminals as nearby spaces are often full. There is also a cell phone parking lot. Orlando Airport is a bright ultra modern building with an enclosed, elevated, passenger shuttle system linking the gates to the tri-level main terminal.
