Information on Miami Airport
Miami International Airport is located 15km to the west of central Miami. It is a large airport offering more than one hundred airlines flying to approximately 150 destinations around the world, and is ranked among the busiest airports in the world.
The main terminal building is semicircular with eight pier-shaped concourses numbered A to J (B was demolished in 2005). Ticketing and departures are located on the upper level and baggage reclaim carousels are located on the lower level.
Remember that you should never leave anything unattended as it could be subject to tampering and all unattended bags will be removed at Miami Airport. For information or assistance while at MIA, pick up one of the 24 hour white courtesy phones or visit the Information Centre at Concourse E, Level 2, which is open from 5:00 to 22:00..

Miami Airport Taxis

The taxi fare to the city centre is $15.50 and takes approximately 20 minutes. Local rates are $4.50 for the first sixth of a mile then $0.40 for each extra sixth of a mile. Waiting time $0.40 per minute.
Miami Airport Buses
The airport is well connected to the surrounding area by the Miami-Dade Metrobus. Free shuttles are provided to and from the Tri-Rail commuter railway at the airport and Hialeah Market Stations. Miami Airport Trains
Miami Airport has a mass-transit metro-rail system; a fixed rail system to downtown Miami and Brickell; and the 133 TriRail commuter train reaches Broward and Palm Beach Counties from the Airport Station to the east of the airport on NW 21st Street.

Miami Airport Parking
Miami International Airport has long-term parking facilities with two multi-level parking garages. Short-term parking is available in the same area near the terminal
