Located just 8kms outside of the city of Coruna this airport deals
mostly with internal Spanish flights and to date there are not any
low cost airlines flying here from the UK or Germany. The nearest
airport which is served by Ryanair is Santiago
de Compostela Airport which is about 65 kms away.

Flights to La Coruna Airport
Iberia, Clickair and Spanair offer a selection of Internal and International flights from La
Coruna. You can fly from here direct to: Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid,
Seville, Tenerife South , Lisbon in Portugal and London Heathrow.
Over the summer months Clickair operate from Heathrow into La Coruna with a direct flight every weekday Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday at the weekend leaving London at 17.15 and arriving in Spain 20.15. The return flights all depart from La Coruna at 15.05 and get you back into London at 16.05. Remember that all times quoted are local as Spain is one hour ahead of the UK.
La Coruna Arrivals
When you arrive at
Coruna Airport there are just three baggage carousels to collect
your bags from. After you have collected your luggage head into the
main arrivals hall where you will find signs for the taxis and buses and
the offices for the car hire companies. Iberia and Spanair also
have ticket offices here.
La Coruna Departures
The departures area at La Coruna Airport consists of 10 check
in desks and once you have checked in you will be called to one
of four boarding gates on the ground floor (gates 1 and 2, which
provide access to the apron) or the first floor (gates 3 and 4,
equipped with air bridges).
Within this area you will also find a cafe serving hot and cold drinks and a Multishop selling cigarettes etc.
La Coruna Parking
The
car park is right opposite the airport terminal at La Coruna and
has capacity for 524 vehicles.
The rates are pretty reasonable: first half hour or less €0.42; second half hour or less €0.52; all or part of each additional hour €0.98; daily maximum up to 4 days €10.45; daily maximum from the fifth day €8.35.
La Coruna Airport bus
The
buses at Coruna Airport arrive and depart from just outside the
terminal building. The service connects A Coruña (Puerta
Real) with the airport, with stops in Casino, Plaza de Orense, Avenida
A. Molina, Alcampo, Portazgo, Corveira and Vilaboa
On working days, both from A Coruña and from the airport, buses run from 7.15 am to 9.45 pm every half hour. On Saturdays they leave from A Coruña every hour from 7.30 am to 10.30 pm, and from the airport from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm also every hour. On Sundays and bank-holidays they leave every hour, from A Coruña from 8.30 am to 10.30 pm, and from the airport from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm.

as a rough guide (depending on whether it is a working day or a holiday) a taxi into Coruna should cost €15 - €18;
