The Club de Campo Laukariz is a par 72 18 hole course which is a 15 minute drive from the centre of Bilbao. It is a popular course so reservations are recommended.

Facilities include a pro shop, buggy and trolley hire, driving range, clubhouse with restaurant and cafeteria and changing rooms.

Designed by Severiano Ballesteros this is the first public golf course in Bizkaia. It has a surface area of 104 hectares and offers an
18 hole par 72 course which is more than 6km long and a 1km 9 hole 0ar 3 course.

Meaztegi Golf has a golf school, practice area of 310 metres in length with 60 drive-off areas, pitching and putting greens, a pro shop, a club house on three levels built into the hillside with a restaurant and cafeteria and a large car park.

The “Real Sociedad de Golf de Neguri” is in Punta Galea in the Municipality of Getxo. The course is a par 72, 18 holes (including 6 par-3’s). It is not a difficult course to play and offers some spectacular views with its situation 60 metres above sea-level with part of it running along the cliff-tops overlooking the Cantabrian Sea.

If you are planning to explore the area outside of the city centre and play some golf or go to some of the more out of the way beaches then you might consider hiring a car. There are a number of car hire firms based at Bilbao Airport who will be pleased to have a vehicle awaiting your arrival. This also cuts down on transfer costs for you and your family.
