The flying time is around 3 hours 40 minutes, but remember that Spain is one hour ahead of the UK and all the times quoted below are local.

You can fly to Gran Canaria with Thomsonfly who operate weekend flights every Saturday during the summer months. The return flight to Ireland also leaves Spain later on Saturday night.

Jet2 also operate a flight on a Saturday which leaves Belfast at 09.50 in the morning and gets you into Gran Canaria at 14.20. The return flight leaves at 15.20 arriving back in Ireland at 19.50. The Jet2 timetables operate until 30th March 2008.
