Barcelona Airport Buses

The new Barcelona Airport Terminal 1 has 15 public transport routes connecting it with T2, the airport Renfe suburban train station, the city of Barcelona, many  towns in the province and the cities of Girona, Tarragona and Lleida.

Bustransit lines have been established between T1 and T2 and the Renfe suburban train station located opposite T2; line L99 has also been created covering the Castelldefels-Viladecans-Gava -Airport route, and a new Aerobus service, called A1, connects T1 with Plaza Catalunya. Various lines have also been extended, which previously only connected with T2: line 46 (Plaza de Espanya-Airport), PR1 (Prat de Llobregat Renfe Station-Airport), L77 (San Joan Despi­-Cornella-Sant Boi-El Prat), N17 (night bus Barcelona-El Prat-Airport) and 7 regional lines (Cambrils-Port Aventura-Salou-Airport; El Vendrell-Vilanova-Airport-Barcelona; Andorra-Barcelona-Airport; Andorra-Airport; Figueres-Girona-Airport; Reus-Tarragona-Airport and Lleida-Airport).

There are two types of buses from Barcelona, public transport and private shuttle buses.

If you are travelling to one of the resorts close to Barcelona Airport it might be better to pre book a shared shuttle bus via Shuttle Direct.

Barcelona Rapid Aeroport (Alsa) Airport Bus to Figueres, Girona, Lleida, Reus, Port Aventura and Tarragona

Stops: At T2B and T1 (Arrivals roadways).

Journey durations: To Girona: 1 hour 35 minutes; to Figueres: 2 hours 15 minutes; to Tarragona: 1 hour; to Reus: 1 hour and a half and to Lleida 2 hours.

Timetable: Buses to Figueres and Girona depart at 8:00, 13:45 and 21:00. To Tarragona, Port Aventura and Reus, at 8:15 , 12:30, 17:00 and 21:30. To Lleida at 09:30 and 18:30.

Single Fares: To Figueres, € 24.85; to Girona €18.65; to Lleida € 25.00; to Reus and Port Aventura €14.80 and to Tarragona, €12.40. Round-trip tickets and 10-trip passes are available. Discounts available for children, young people, senior citizens over 60 years of age, and groups of ten or more people.

Barcelona Airport Bus Line connecting Barcelona to El Vendrell, stopping in Bellvitge, Airport, Ribes, Sitges, Rocamar, Roquetes, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell.

Stops: In T2B, (departures and next to the technical block) and in T1 (Departures and Arrivals)

Timetable: Monday through Friday, the bus departs hourly from the airport between 07:40 and 23:40 (from 20:40, the service terminates in Vilanova); on Saturdays at 08:40, 10:40, 12:40 (terminating in Vilanova), 13:40, 15:40, 18:40, 20:40 and 22:40 (from 18:40, the service terminates in Vilanova); on Sundays and public holidays at 09:40, 13:40, 17:40 and 21:40 (all terminating in Vilanova).

Aerobus (A1) Airport T1 - Plaza de Catalunya.

Stops: On the roadway outside T1 Arrivals (P0) and T1 Departures (P3)

Timetable: Departures from Plaza de Catalunya, from 05:30 to 12:30 ; from the airport, from 06:05 to 01:05 . Every 10 minutes.

Aerobus (A2) Airport T2 - Plaza de Catalunya.

Stops: Opposite T2A, T2B (opposite the Joan Miró mural) and T2C

Timetable: Monday to Saturday and public holidays: departures from airport, from 06:00 to 01:00; departures from Plaza de Catalunya, from 05:30 to 00:30. Buses run every 8 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Stops: At T2B and T1 (Arrivals roadways).

Timetable: From Monday to Friday, buses depart from the airport at 08:55, 14:25, 17:55, 19:55 and 20:55; every Saturday at 12:20, 14:25 and 18:55; on Sundays and public holidays at 12:20, 18:55, 21:25 and 22:55.

Saturdays, at 09:25, 12:20, 14:25, 17:55, 18:50, 19:50, 20:55 and 23:40

Sundays and public holidays at 09:25, 12:20, 14:25, 17:55, 18:50, 21:25 and 23.40.

Fare: €14.90 round trip. Journey time around 2 hours.

Novatel Autocars Airport - Andorra (Bus Station).
Stops: At T2B and T1 (Arrivals roadway).

Timetable: Buses depart daily from the airport (except 25 December and 1 January) at 10.30, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00 and 19.45 hours.

Intercity buses Directbus: Airport - Sants Station (Barcelona) - Andorra- Sant Julià de Lòria.

Stops: At T1 and T2.

Timetable: Buses leave the airport daily at 07:45, 10:45, 12:45, 15:15, 17:45, 19:45 and 22:45.

Our advice for the bus is as always, if you are in a hurry or have definite plans do not rely on the Barcelona Airport Buses. If you need to be somewhere within a certain time take one of the Barcelona airport taxis or better still, arrange your own private Barcelona Airport Transfers
