Barcelona Airport Buses

There are two types of buses from Barcelona, public transport and private shuttle buses.

If you are travelling to one of the resorts close to Barcelona Airport it might be better to pre book a shared shuttle bus via Shuttle Direct.

Barcelona Rapid Aeroport (Alsa) Airport Bus to Figueres, Girona, Lleida, Reus and Tarragona

Stops: Across from the Joan Miró mural in Terminal B

Journey durations: To Girona: 1 hour 35 minutes; to Figueres: 2 hours 15 minutes; to Tarragona: 1 hour; to Reus: 1 hour and a half and to Lleida 2 hours.

Timetable: Buses to Figueres and Girona depart at 8:00, 13:45 and 21:00. To Tarragona, Port Aventura and Reus, at 8:15 , 12:30, 17:00 and 21:30. To Lleida at 09:30 and 18:30.

Single Fares: To Figueres, € 24.85; to Girona €18.65; to Lleida € 25.00; to Reus and Port Aventura €14.80 and to Tarragona, €12.40. Round-trip tickets and 10-trip passes are available. Discounts available for children, young people, senior citizens over 60 years of age, and groups of ten or more people.

Barcelona Airport Bus to Tarragona, with stops in Ribes, Sitges, Rocamar, Roquetes, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell.

Stops: At the corner of terminal B next to the access for the technical block.

Timetable: Monday through Friday, the bus departs hourly from the airport between 07:40 am and 22:40; Saturdays, 8:40, 10:40, 13:40, 15:40, 18:40, 20:40, 22:40; Sundays and public holidays, 9:40, 13:40, 17:40, 21:40.

Aerobus (A1) Airport-Plaza de Catalunya.
Stops:In front of Terminals A, B (Arrivals) and C.

Timetable: From Mondays to Saturdays and holidays: departures from the airport, from 06:00 to 01:00; from Plaza de Catalunya, from 05:30 to 00:15. Buses run every 7 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Empresa Plana Airport - La Pineda - Salou - Cambrils
Stops: At Terminal B, in front of the Joan Miró mural.

Timetable: From Mondays to Fridays, departures from the airport at 08:40, 11:40, 12:20, 14:25, 17:55, 20:55 and 23:40; Saturdays, at 09:25, 12:20, 14:25, 17:55, 19:55, 20:55 and 23:40 and Sundays and public holidays at 09:25, 12:20, 14:25, 17:55, 21:25 and 23.40.

Line 105 El Prat-Airport.
Stops:Cargo terminal, terminal B (opposite Joan Miró mural and on the corner of terminal B, next to the entrance to the technical block) and terminal C (on the opposite side).

Timetable: departures from the airport, from 04:45 to 22:43; departures from El Prat 04:30 to 22:30 leaving at around 30 minute intervals.

Line 46 Plaza de España - Airport
Stops:Cargo terminal, terminal B (opposite Joan Miró mural and on the corner of terminal B, next to the entrance to the technical block) and terminal C (roadway on the opposite side).

Timetable: From Plaza de España, from 05:00 to 24:15; from the Airport, from 5:30 to 24:15 Approximately every half hour.This line is included in the Barcelona Metropolitan Region Integrated Fare System (zone 1).

Line PR1 Airport - El Prat (Renfe Station)
Stops: Cargo Terminal, Terminal B (in front of the Joan Miró mural and at the corner of Terminal B, next to the entrance to the technical block) and Terminal C (roadway on the opposite side).

Timetable: airport departures from 06:45 am to 10:15 pm; departures from El Prat, from 7:15 am to 9:45 pm. Every 30 minutes.

Novatel Autocars Airport - Andorra (Bus Station).
Stops: At Terminal B, opposite the Joan Miró mural.

Timetable: Buses depart daily from the airport (except 25 December and 1 January) at 10.30, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00 and 19.45 hours. Single Fare: €28; return €48. Children aged 0 to 3 years travel free; aged 4 to 11 years, half-price.

You can also catch a bus to Lloret de Mar from Barcelona del Nord station in the city centre. They run very frequently and you can find a timetable and prices at www.sarfa.com

Our advice for the bus is as always, if you are in a hurry or have definite plans do not rely on the Barcelona Airport Buses. If you need to be somewhere within a certain time take one of the Barcelona airport taxis or better still, arrange your own private Barcelona Airport Transfers.
