New Staybridge Hotel planned for St Petersburg-Clearwater Airport

A $13.2 million, 106-room Staybridge Suites Hotel is planned for the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport. The hotel will offer three suite types with fully equipped kitchens, work areas and high-speed Internet access and the accommodation is ideal for both short and long stay travellers.

American Hotel Development Partners LLC have over 130 Staybridge Suites Hotels in America and say completion is scheduled to start in August for a late 2009 completion.

The hotel at PIE is part of the airport's $10 million renovation project and on the heels of it's recent announcement of a $1.5 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for safety, security and other projects.

I am afraid there are no buses from Santander to Pamplona (you can find a timetable of buses from Santander to Pamplona by clicking on this link) and the only train from Santander to Pamplona is at 07.05 in the morning.

Taxis from biza Airport to San Antonio Bay

The taxis are normally lined up at the rank waiting outside the arrivals hall to greet the incoming flights. It's a 20km fro the airport to San Antonio Bay so a taxi (which can carry up to 4 people) should cost in the region of €30-€35 single fare at that time of night.

Can you tell me where the easyjet checkin desks are in the airport in palma so that i can direct my taxi driver to the nearest drop off area. I know that it is a big airport and it would be a bit stupid to get dropped off and then to walk miles in the heat to get to the checkin desks.

Getting from Girona to Pamplona

You are talking about quite a journey as it's almost 600km from Girona to Pamplona and will take nearly six hours to drive if you hire a car.

Or you can get a train from the centre of Girona to Pamplona (changing at Barcelona). The campsite is 25km from Pamplona so a taxi which will carry up to 4 people will cost around €35 single fare.

Another option is to look at the options of getting a bus from Girona Airport to Barcelona and then getting the train from there. The range of places is not great, but you can fly from Lanzarote to the following places in Spain:

Alicante, Asturias, Barcelona, Bilbao, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Malaga, Santiago de la Compostela, Seville, Tenerife, Valencia and Zaragoza.

In Germany:

Basel, Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.

And to:

Salzburg, Vienna, Zurich, El Aaiun (Morocco) and Luxembourg.

There is no direct train or bus service from Reus Airport or the railway/bus station in the centre of town to Benicarlo.

So I'm afraid your only option is to get a bus from Reus Airport to the centre of Barcelona and then catch a train from Barcelona to Benicarlo

Hi Leo,

There is no railway station in Javea and you have to travel on the narrow gauge railway from Alicante to get to Denia. The nearest rail link from Valencia is to Gandia, but it's then a 45km journey and a single fare for a taxi which will take 4 passengers will be in the region of €65. But you can get a bus from Valencia Airport to Javea

You can find details of how to get from Valencia Airport to the metro station here.

Car hire companies tend only to rent up to 9 seater minibuses but you can get a free online quote for car hire from Valencia to Javea here. Your other alternative is to get a quote from a company called Shuttle Direct Shuttle Direct who provide private transfers and hopefully can supply a 12 seater minibus on the dates you require.

Hi Anders,

It's a 148km journey from Bilbao Airport to Cabezon de la Sal so a taxi would cost in the region of €180 single fare!

You can catch a train from Bilbao to Santander but you need to change at Palencia or Valladolid . Or a better option is to get a bus from the centre of Bilbao to Santander

It's then a 46km journey from Santander to Cabezon de la Sal so a taxi would cost around €60.

Your other alternative is to use the bus links above to find out timetables to Torrelavega (but the services are not as frequent as the Santander ones) but Cabezon de la Sal is only a 22km journey from there and the taxi would be about €35.

Your final alternative is to hire a car from Bilbao Airport.

My family and I are travelling to Seville airport from Dublin, Ireland on Saturday 14th June and staying in a villa in Isla Cristina. You need to catch a train or bus from Barcelona Airport to Barcelona Sants Railway Station and then another train from Barcelona Sants to the plaza Catalunya (plaça de Catalunya) (Take the Metropolitan line 1 in direction of Hospitalet del llobregat and get off at Plaza Catalunya - trains run every few minutes)

From the station walk along calle Bergara then to the right in carrer de Pelai (it's just a few minutes walk away).
