Alicante Area Markets

Rastro market in Alicante There really are too many markets to mention in Alicante, but the easiest to find is the daily one held on the Explanada d'Espanya where you can buy anything from clothes to pottery, jewellery and decorative items here. There is also an art market on the Paseo Gadeo and street markets on Campoamar, Carolinas and Benalua y Babel. If you love bric a brac then visit antique collectors market and stamp fair held every Sunday morning in the square in front of the Town Hall.

We have listed the days on which all the local markets are held, and as a rough guide they all tend to start up at around 09.30-10.00 and close around 14.00. Most of them have parking nearby so if you rent a car it is the easiest way to transport your wares.
