Alicante Airport Bus
The Alicante Airport Buses run to Albacete, Altea, Benidorm, Calpe, Madrid, Murcia and Villajoyosa. You can check out the times and tariffs on offer through www.alsa.es.
Although the airport is only 9kms south-east of the city it is best to allow around 30-40 minutes for the journey plus waiting time. I have listed the timetables for the main routes below, but as with all places the Alicante airport buses seem to have a mind of their own!
To catch the bus head for Bus Stop 30 (1-29 are charter buses) which a 2 minute walk across the road from the Alicante Airport arrivals hall. You can use our advice on Alicante Airport maps to help you find the buses.
Alicante Airport Bus to Alicante (C6)
The service starts at 06.30
with a bus every 40 minutes until 23.10 at night. Journey time of 35-40
minutes. Single Fare: : €1.20

Alicante Airport Bus to Benidorm
Below is the summer timetable for the direct bus line from Alicante Airport to Benidorm. The bus goes to Benidorm Bus Station at Avenida Europa 8 starting at 06:30 and running at regular 30 minute intervals until 22:30.
Journey Time approximately 50 minutes: Price between €7.05-€7.20 per single trip depending on which bus you catch.

Alicante Airport Bus to Elche
There is a new line (bus 93) operated by Subus directly into Elche and Alicante city centre. If you are heading south towards Mar Menor it will probably provide better onward connections The service operates every two hours Monday-Friday from 07:00-21:00 (09:00 on weekends and holidays) and you can find more details at www.subus.es
Price €1.20 single trip.
Alicante Airport Bus to Murcia
Alicante Airport - Murcia: Monday-Friday 07:00 then every 2 hours until 21:00 / Saturday and Sunday 09:15 then every 2 hours until 21:15 but with an extra bus at 20:15
Murcia - Alicante Airport: Monday-Friday 07:00 then every 2 hours until 21:15 / Saturday and Sunday 08:00 then every 2 hours until 21:00 with an extra bus at 18:00
Journey Time 1 hour 45 minutes. Price: €5.17 (one way) €9.31 (return)

Buses to Denia
Leave from Alicante Central Bus Station. The journey time is around 2 hours 30 minutes (depending on the time of day). The single fare is €9.35 and return is €17.75. It is a regular service with first bus at 07.00 and the last one at 21:00. You can find out more details on timetables at www.alsa.es

Our advice for the Airport bus is that if you are in a hurry or have definite plans, do not rely on the Alicante Airport Bus. If you need to be somewhere within a certain time take a Alicante taxi or better still, arrange your own private Alicante Airport transfers.
