Alicante Area Guide

Alicante is the second largest town in the region of Valencia in south east Spain. It was once a dilapidated port which has now become an attractive new city and popular tourist destination. The area of Alicante is rich in fauna and flora with many rivers and ramblas, which are dry rivers that fill in with water when it rains.
