Generally bus and rail links are not good between Spain and Portugal. If you click on this link it gives you details of just where you can get to by train from Portugal to Spain
and www.eva-bus.com are the main bus company to work out routes.

hello, i was looking for ways to travel from portugal to spain and found your blog. I live in Italy and want to travel around spain and portugal in august on a budget. i found flights to valencia and from there porto. the place that i really want to reach however is san sebastian and unfortunately there are no flights from porto or from lisbon to bilbao. would you know if there are any buses or trains that can get me to bilbao on a budget???
