Car hire companies at Girona Airport

Avis and Hertz certainly let you take a hire car across borders but they charge a very high premium - this is all due to the insurance costs I'm afraid.

Can you please tell me what car hire companies have desks in the airport terminal.

I know that Hertz have one, can you advise who else has a desk there.



Some of the companies offering cars for hire give no details as to who to contact on arrival, which

Is very important especially if one is arriving late in the evening.



Also are you aware if any of the car hire companies have an excess charge for vehicles

Taken out of Spain and into France.
