I will be flying to Valencia at the end of July, and I am in process of planning routes etc.

The airport looks scary from Google Map - is it as bad as it looks??

I would like to know how user friendly it is inside, and what the approach roads are like i.e well signposted, as signposts seem to stop in Spain!!

I have rented from Gold car in the arrivals hall - I hope a good choice?

Also, I will have to drop off an elderly relative during my visit and would like to make sure she gets to departures & checkin ok. Where do I have to park the rental car for this purpose?

Any thing else that you think I ought to know - as many websites I have looked at seem to differ?
