Hi Roger,

The drivers here were on strike the week before the UK one (they were blocking food and petrol supplies). We did have some fuel and food shortages (fresh meat, fish and veg) for about a day, but the government adopted a policy of zero tolerance and sent in the army and guards to break up the picket lines.

So hopefully that's the end of the problem, but if they do strike again it should all be over pretty quickly with the government's stance.

We are flying into Girona on 28th June and have a hire car booked for a week (we are staying near Tremp)

Are there any problems with fuel supplies - some tanker drivers are on strike here
