Bringing foodstuffs into Spain

You can bring foodstuffs into Spain as long as it is in your hold luggage and you do not try and carry it in your hand baggage.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children arriving malaga airport on 17jul08.

I need to know if I can put some conserve cans , some spaghettis packs
and corn flakes in my baggage because its cheaper in my country.
