Where is a good place to meet at Madid Airport?

Hi Linda,

The more modern terminal is 4 so suggest you make that your meeting place. There are arrivals boards for all the terminals in each one so you can check the status of each other's flights.

A good place to meet in terminal 4 is in Cafe Ars on the ground floor (there is also one on the first floor so make sure you specify ground) which is close to the arrivals hall which is also on the ground floor so that your daughter can at least get something to eat and drink if you are delayed.

Gary, My daughter and I are both arriving at the Madrid airport at 07:45 am. She will be arriving on a U.S. Air flight from Philadelphia (terminal 1) and I will be arriving on an American Airlines flight from Chicago (terminal 4). Do you have a suggestion for a good place to meet in the airport? Is it reasonably easy to determine status of flights arriving in terminal 4 when in terminal 1, and visa versa? We don't plan to get cell phones until after we arrive, so it is important to have a plan.
