Malaga Airport Bus to Marbella

I agree. And afraid that's the way it is until the summer timetable kicks in around July! And can't see things changing until the new terminal is up and running with more flights operating.

Thank you very much for your helpful comments - the only trouble is that the bus only seems to run every one and three quarter hours so might be a bit of a pain.

Hi Caroline,

The airport to Marbella bus is a large coach with luggage kept under the seating area so your parents can wheel the cases right up to the edge of the storage area and just push it in. The driver does not normally load the cases for you (but they might be lucky and get a helpful one or a strong passenger who will help). At the Marbella end again they have to get the luggage out themselves but there is a ramp down from the bus garage to the taxi rank/road.

I find the hardest part of travelling on this bus is climbing the steps to get on and off!

Hi - my parents who 80 and 78 want to get the airport bus from Malaga to Marbella and will have two suitcases on wheels - I just wondered how easy it is getting luggage on and off these buses. Do they have a luggage area under the bus where the driver puts the cases in or are they similar to the public buses where you have to haul your luggage inside the bus and then get it off yourselves? I would be glad of your advice.
