Getting from Santiago de la Compostela to Vigo

You can fly into Vigo from Paris, Barcelona, Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Madrid, Paris, Tenerife South and Valencia - but not the UK I'm afraid. So your only alternative is to fly into one of those airports from the UK and then get a connection to Vigo. please could you tell me if it is best to hire a car from santiago de compostela to beach playa america near vigo or how to get a coach or train as I believe there are no flights direct to vigo. OR do you know any better way of getting there from London.
