Getting from Gibraltar to Tarifa

There are 19.15 and 19.45 buses from La Linea which arrive in Algeciras at 20.00 and 20.30 respectively. Providing you are not delayed and manage to catch the 19.45 then you will be able to get the last bus from Algeciras to Tarifa which leaves at 21.00 and arrives in Tarifa at 21.45

You have to walk across the border into Spain and go the La Linea bus station and get a bus to Algeciras - timetable details at http://www.ctmcg.com/doc/horarios/M-120.pdf and then get another bus to Tarifa - details at http://www.ctmcg.com/doc/horarios/M-150.pdf

As you will see you will probably be arriving too late to make the connections, so your other alternative (and much safer and easier option at that time of night) is again to walk across into La Linea and get a taxi which you will see waiting just across the road from the border. Tarifa is a 42km journey which will take about 45 minutes by taxi and cost you around €60.
