Flights to Gibraltar from France and Switzerland

Hello, Can you help? Have been asked to help a friend who is trying to swim the straits of Gibraltar in July. However, My friends will be travelling from the UK. I will be travelling from France about an hours drive from Geneva, Switzerland. Can't find any notes on where planes go from and into Gibraltar. I don't want to fly back to the UK and then out again. Can you advise me of the web page I should be looking at.

You can find out which flights operate into Gibraltar at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/gibraltar-airport.html

As you will see there is nothing from France or Switzerland so you may prefer to fly into Malaga - details at http://www.malaga-airport-guide.com/ and then either hire a car to get to Gibraltar or get a bus from Malaga to La Linea (which is on the Spanish side next to the border with Gibraltar) - details at www.ctsa-portillo.com
