If you follow this link it gives you times of trains from Barcelona Sants station to Calella http://www.renfe.es/cercanias/barcelona/index_horarios.html To get to the station from the airport you can get a taxi or bus (in view of your arrival time I would opt for a taxi) - details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/barcelona-airport.html

The buses to Calella stop running too early to be of any use to you I'm afraid.

By the way you are not alone in having problems with understanding the (supposedly new and improved) Renfe site - I speak Spanish and have difficulty in finding out information!

Just came across this web site while google searhing, we are going to Barcelona on the 3rd june we wont arrive until nearly nine o clock in the evening, is it too late at that stage to get a train to calella or a bus, I know the train runs to caleela have been there before but not about arriving at this time, cannot read the information on the renf site its all Spanish
