Getting from T2 to T4 at Madrid

There is a regular transit bus service connecting the terminals which runs at 5 minute intervals. The bus stop at terminal 2 is on the second floor - departures.

Dear Gary,

I'm going to fly to Madrid on Friday, my arrival from Germany will be at Terminal 2 but I have a connecting flight to Fuerteventura at Terminal 4.

What is the best/ quickest way to get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4? I only have 45 minutes at my disposal to get there.
