Getting from Palma Airport to Palma Nova

That's probably quite right as you're at the end of the Easter break and the cars do run out in popular areas like Palma. Many thanks for the information, when I have tried searching on the hired cars just for the one night 27th to 28th March collecting at Airport and dropping off at Paseo Maritimo selecting all cars, it is saying none available?

Hi Michelle,

First of all Palmanova is 24km from the airport and a taxi will cost in the region of €30 and take about 25-30 minutes. If you opt for the bus you need to get a bus from the airport into Palma - details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/palma-airport-buses.htmland then another to Palmanova - details at http://tib.caib.es/terrestre/doc/autobuses/MAPAS/Mapa%20zones%20horaris%20mallorca.pdf

By the time you have waited for connections I would estimate the bus journeys to be between 1-1 hour 30 minutes and the approximate cost per head for both buses to be around €4-5.

There should be no problem about hiring a car at the airport and leaving it at Paseo Maritimo. Hi,

Please can you advise me how long it will take to get from the airport to Palma Nova by bus. We are arriving at 7.00 p.m. and are thinking about travelling by bus, I realise it will be two buses but in your experience how long will this take and of course how much single for 2 adults and one child? We will only have one suitcase so luggage will not be a problem.

The other query I have is that if we decide to hire a car a lot of the hire companies you are not able to select a drop off point for the car other than the airport itself. If we chose to hire a car and then wished to leave it at paseo maritimo can you tell me if this is possible with all hire car companies or would we have to choose some one specific?
