Car hire firms based at Gibraltar Airport

You are right in that most of the car hire firms are based in La Linea which most people prefer as it saves them having to get a car and then queuing to cross the border into Spain. Avis and Niza cars have bases at the airport and if you follow this link and key your pick up as Gibraltar Airport you can get a free online quote. If you still have a problem then Blands are a local travel agent based in the centre of Gibraltar who act as agents for Avis and it might be worth contacting them at http://www.blands.gi/carhire.html

I am afraid don't know of any porterage firms in Gibraltar or La Linea, but hopefully the above will be of assistance.

We travel with a film camera kit and personal bags amounting to of 5 heavyish bags and cases.



We use Gibraltar airport when we film at Seville and Jerez circuits several times a yea.



The boys always have this car hire problem which involves the border crossing.



Is there either a car hire company on the Gibraltar side, or an acceptable taxi/porterage system which can be used to get business travellers with baggage into Spain to work, please ?
